Healthy skin is beautiful skin. The DT2 machine uses a potent combination of diamonds and powerful serums to treat your skin and restore its optimal health. First, your provider will pass our patented DiamondTome facial wand over the curves of the treatment area. During this process, diamond chips will gently exfoliate your skin and lighten fine lines, sun damage and scars.

From there, your provider will customize treatments using our Hydro Wand®. Depending on your skincare needs, you may receive a dose of multi-vitamins, targeted serums or a deeply hydrating moisturizer to address your specific skin issues. Because the exfoliation prepared your skin to readily absorb the treatments, they will penetrate more deeply and their effectiveness will be enhanced.

From the sun’s rays and harsh winds to pollution and toxins, your skin has to combat a lot on a daily basis. It’s only natural that some of these effects break through the barriers, causing damage. How does this procedure work?

Our industry-leading DT2 machine accomplishes this by gently buffing the surface with natural diamond chips and vacuuming away dead cells to smooth and soften the skin. This process also stimulates the elastic tissue beneath the surface, which works to accelerate cellular turnover and encourage the growth of new collagen, creating a healthier complexion from the inside out.

Diamond tip microdermabrasion is designed to improve some of these effects. It involves gently removing the damaged outer layer of your skin to reveal the healthy complexion underneath.

Once the exfoliation portion of the procedure is complete, your provider will administer a HydroPlus+ Serum to complement your skin type using our patented Hydro Wand. This serum is designed to deeply hydrate and nourish your skin, improving its appearance and texture. There are several types formulated to target specific skin conditions, such as blemishes, dry skin, uneven skin tone and more.

After the procedure

Because our diamond exfoliation machine is so gentle, most patients experience no side effects. At the very most, they may see some minor redness in the treatment area, but it should disappear quickly.

In terms of results, it’s common for clients to notice visible results after their very first treatment with healthier-looking skin. However, for significant, lasting results, most will require several treatments spaced a couple of weeks apart, along with maintenance visits every few months moving forward.

It’s important to note that our diamond tipped microdermabrasion machine isn’t the right approach for everyone. Patients with vascular lesions and active acne should avoid this treatment, as should pregnant women.

It’s also not ideal for individuals suffering from more severe skin issues, such as deep acne scars and heavy wrinkling, as those conditions will require a more intensive treatment. And finally, patients need to wait at least three weeks after a chemical peel or dermal fillers before undergoing diamond tip exfoliation with the DT2 Machine.
