In 1999, Altair Instruments introduced the world’s first crystal free skin exfoliation system featuring the original diamond-tipped wand. Since that day, we have continuously tweaked and improved our solutions, expanded our offerings to treat the entire body from head to toe, and strived to provide every clients with the targeted system they need to discover their best skin.
In the past, microdermabrasion was performed using crystals to abrade the outer layers of the skin. From there, a vacuum was applied to suction away the excess debris and exfoliated skin cells.
